Welcome to Absence of Clutter!
Unless you have a chef, a nanny, a maid, and a personal trainer, you probably find yourself in the same predicaments I find myself in almost daily: I can be a mess! Surprised to read that on an organization blog? Well, that’s precisely why I started it!
Like many, I am a working mom and wife, and I, like most working moms, often feel overwhelmed with my daily duties, career workload, and personal goals. Add to that my self-diagnosed obsessive-compulsive disorder, and what you have is a pretty stressed out momma.
Consequently, I have made it a goal to organize myself. I’m not just talking about straightening out my drawers, closets, and garage, I’m talking about organizing and de-cluttering my LIFE!
Through this blog, I plan to post ideas gathered from other amazing blogs, Pinterest boards, and websites to compile the best ones I find on a variety of topics related to improving my:
- home organization
- mental health
- physical health
- family life (marriage and parenting)
A little bit about Minette (that’s me!):
I went to the University of Florida and graduated with a major in English and a minor in Mass Communications.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and have been for six years.
I have two rambunctious boys! (Joshua, 6 and Isaac, 3)
I am a fifth grade teacher and love to find new and fun ways to teach and, more importantly, help my students become lifelong learners.
Some of my obsessions:
coffee, WINE, books, MOVIES, writing, PINK, teaching, NAIL POLISH, handbags, THE OCEAN, dancing, FASHION, faith, PINTEREST, fonts, KIDS, shoes, DATENIGHT, Disney, COOKING, photography, MAKEUP, apple products, & of course, ORGANIZING.
I am new to all this blogging stuff, but I hope you will enjoy my page nonetheless!
